Introducing Watch APRS - An application that allows users to monitor APRS packets originating from ham and amateur radio transmitters worldwide.

Watch APRS is a successor to the previous APRS Watch App and has been completely redesigned, re-architected, and re-released as a new generational version available on the App Store.

Expanding on its predecessor, Watch APRS provides reliable connections to APRS Tier 2 servers globally, along with several new features aimed at enhancing the user experience:

• Live monitoring of APRS traffic and packets based on GPS location
• Real-time data analytics on APRS packets including Average Outdoor Temperatures derived from weather telemetry data
• Interactive mapping of APRS packets utilizing Apple Maps on your device
• Enhanced UX/UI to conveniently view various types of APRS packets within the application
• Improved connection reliability with APRS Servers, even when the app is running in the background or resumed from sleep
• Capacity to handle thousands of packets and millions of bytes of data in a single app session
• High-grade APRS packet parsing capabilities
• Geocoding of APRS packet data to display location names atop the actual GPS positions
• Re-built and re-coded using Microsoft .NET MAUI with a revamped back-end library and code for streamlined data delivery

As part of our development restructuring, the Ad Free feature has been temporarily discontinued while we focus on code enhancements to better support ongoing app development. As a gesture of goodwill, we have enabled the APRS transmission feature for all users, allowing you to transmit your device's location using a valid amateur radio license and call sign to the APRS servers.
